Reality surfing je scénografickým výzkumem jenž zpracovává spotřebitelskou a estetickou zkušenost člověka v realitách nelidského světa. Skrze bedlivé pozorování neživých entit v běžném životě a spekulování o jejich (možných) funkcích, skupina PYL se snaží zarámovat bytí věci do performativního kontextu.

Reality surfing is a scenographic research that processes the consumer and aesthetic experience of a human in the realms of nonhuman world. Through careful observation of inanimate entities in everyday life and speculation about their (possible) functions, the PYL group frames the being of things into a relational and performative context.
